Last week a patient called to come in early for her appointment. She was getting a migraine.

 

She has been a patient for years. She's had migraines sense she was a child. However, she hadn't had one for months.

 

If you haven't had migraines or know someone who does, you don't understand how that form of headache can affect your life. Migraine sufferers often get blurred vision or see stars, can't stand light, vomit, and lose a day of their lives in bed, waiting for the symptoms to pass.

 

The patient once said that she wondered how much better she would have done in school if she had been adjusted so she didn't have the headaches.

Sometimes headaches are caused by subluxations of the spine. When that is true, adjustment of the subluxation is the only way to correct the cause.
